Life is beautiful. The boys are a blessing every single day. Even when their noses are snotty or their tears are flowing or their screams are bouncing off the walls....we are so stinken blessed. Joshua will be 3 in just a month - can't wait til May 28th to celebrate his special day. MJ will be 2 on July 19th - my baby is getting so big and I'm crying just typing this. Oh my goodness - the developments are too numerous to name, but here are a few:
- MJ can count to 12!
- Joshua won't stop counting, reading letters out loud and simply TALKING all the TIME! :)
- MJ is not potty-trained but is starting to tell us when he goes....it's almost time!
- Every single night we sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star then Jesus Loves Me before we pray and go to bed. It is darling to hear their little voices, and they love to sing like their mommy!
- Joshua prays now on his own all the time - it's a precious gift from the Lord to hear him talk to his heavenly father and thank Him for MJ and mommy and daddy...and his toys and friends.
- MJ is now in Josh's class at church - the big kids (2s & 3s) - it's so cool to see them together!
- Favorite shows are Super Why, Special Agent OSO, Team Umizoomi, Dino Dan and still those good old Fresh Beat Band crazy kids. Oh, and and Jake and the Pirates. (sounds like a lot of TV but it is moderated and such a lifesaver for Mommy!)
- Joshua says he's not going to school....when asked, he "wants to be with Mommy" and asks me if I'll go with him. :) (please wait a minute while my hear melts - smile.)
- The boys are very used to sleeping together and waking up together. It's very hard to lay one down without the other or one to get up without the other. I'm guessing this may change soon. :)
- Joshua is imaginary playing all the time...talking to himself, flying in the air and he makes amazing but annoying noises with his mouth. A L L T H E T I M E.
- MJ has a drinking problem. We have to hide what we're doing if we're making drinks to go because if he sees his cup, he wants it and won't stop til he gets it. (gets this from his dad)
So anyways, here's a slideshow of the best of hundreds of photos from the past many months. I know it's long but hopefully you enjoy stepping in and experiencing life with our fabulous four.
