Well, MJ turned 1 July 19th, and we got to have his party on Sunday, July 18th. We had a great time at the pool, and MJ finally started full-fledged walking just 2 days before that, so he really felt like our growing-up little boy. Now as I write this, my little 1 year old is 15 months old today, and my how many milestones he's reaching:
- MJ is ALMOST done with bottles - we still let him have 1 before he goes to bed and sometimes 1 when he wakes up, but the addiction there is almost over. :)
- MJ LOVES to dance! he shakes his groove thang to the Fresh Beat Band, Jacks Big Music Show and really any good beat he hears starting up - so cute!
- MJ is our SUPERSTAR EATER - he pretty much eats anything you put in front of him and somehow with only 4 teeth he chews his food faster than Joshua. :)
- MJ copies everything that his big brother does, which is not always safe but a lot of fun to watch.
- MJ loves to hand you things and hear you say thank you so he can get it back and say thank you back.
- He has a bit of a "squealing screech" that he unleashes whenever Josh takes something from him or whenever he gets trapped or can't push a toy the way he wants - it sounds like he's dying, but we've learned we don't have to come running - it's just his "I'm mad about this" cry.
- MJ loves loves loves Josh - he always wants to wake Josh up sooner than naptime is over and hates it when Joshua sleeps in later in the morning. :) Likewise, when MJ's morning nap needs to end, Joshua runs when we say he can get MJ up now. :)

yeah! you updated! ;) I know.. life is just too darn busy! I think between blogs, fb and email, I might have to give one up? haha
